I know this is gonna ruffle some feathers, but honestly, what doesn’t these days? 🤷🏾♀️
I’ve just been observing for awhile here, and I’ve noticed that out of the over 30k members here, no one REALLY supports anyone who’s asking for help.
Before you argue me down, answer this..
When’s the last time you were scrolling down your feed either here or in your personal feed, saw something you liked or thought was funny , but didn’t “like” it or share it?🤔
That’s what I’m saying.
I’ve seen people just asking for others to share their posts and no one responds or shares.
I’ve seen people with AMAZING products, businesses & or ideas post on here and get maybe one like.
Look, I’m only one person,I’m broke & 26, but some of you on here are super grown and wealthy, still on some petty stuff. .
Y’all are still letting your egos, jealousy and need to be “better than” others stop you from appreciating the value of someone else’s things.
That’s sad.
How are we gonna talk about “Black businesses need to support each other”, when we can’t even share someone else’s post, give them a like or buy from them? When deep down inside, we still don’t want to see or help anyone get ahead of ourselves?
Still constantly competing with each other. 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤔
We don’t have any problem supporting Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Gucci or any other designers, though.
We can drop $250 on some shoes, but we can’t pay $50 for a fellow members items.
Everything isn’t a competition, and regardless how much money or success you think you have, remember two things:
-It can all be taken from you.
-Someone will always have something “better” than you or be more successful, or beautiful.
Let’s just do better.
