Post op

I’m finally awake from constantly falling asleep and waking up. I got home around 5pm and have been dozing ever since.

My pain right now is about a 7, because I  haven’t been waiting the full 4 hours to take my pain Medicine again, plus 1000mg of Tylenol for my fever.

I also found out that my white blood count I had done 3 days ago was incredibly high, meaning infection somewhere that has been causing me to be on fire and sweating all the time.

The Dr told my mom that my intestine was incredibly enlarged, suggesting craziness with my Crohns Disease, so I gotta be that under control asap.

Speaking of my Crohns, they called and told me my Entivyo Infusions got approved and my first infusion for it is this Friday (October 14th) at 2, at the Infusion Center way in North Knoxville..bleh. 😣 So basically, if this medicine doesn’t work, my GI has to send me off to a specialist to see what they say and it’s back to the operating table..fingers crossed that this will have response.

My belly is so distended and tight, it’s ridiculous. I feel like if you poked me I’d explode. Literally that bad.

(The newest addition to the War Wounds)

Anyways, I see that colorectal surgeon on the 20th and he should have all my tests/labs and what not by then so we can get the ball rolling.

Will make a video hopefully tomorrow morning and give an update.

  1. Sending you healing thoughts! What surgery did you have done? I had colostomy surgery on the 28th of September and my belly is still swollen a little. Yours will go down too in time and before you know it! πŸ™‚ wishing you health and happiness!
