Facing the Spotlight: The Courage to Be Seen

There’s a strange paradox in the spiritual journey—one where the most powerful among us often want to remain unseen. I’ve carried that paradox my whole life. And recently, I was forced to confront it face-first… by going live.

Now listen—going live is not my thing. I’m not the “look at me” type. There’s no Leo in my chart (okay, except Chiron, which—of course—sits in Leo in my fifth house of self-expression and creativity). So yeah, I’ve got wounds there. Deep ones. Wounds from childhood. Wounds from past lives. Wounds from persecution. Wounds from being seen and not being safe.

For the longest time, I liked being invisible. I liked being the power behind the throne. I liked hiding in plain sight. But that time has ended. Spirit has been relentless in telling me: it’s time to step into the spotlight.

And so I did. I went live. I hit that shaky little button with trembling fingers and a racing heart. Why? Because I had to.

The Saturn Reality Check

Saturn had entered opposition with my Virgo Sun, and as usual, April through June came with its standard dose of cosmic ass-kicking. Historically, this has been the period where, if I refused to listen to the signs and take pause, God-Source-Universe would literally snatch me back—through illness, surgeries, or unexpected setbacks.

And I mean snatch like your mama combing your hair while you squirm. Y’all know exactly what I’m talking about.

For 15+ years, I ignored the red lights. I burned myself out, pushed through, resisted rest—and was forced to sit my ass down time and time again. But this year? This year I finally listened.

Red Light, Green Light (The Divine Edition)

The Universe plays red light, green light with your life. Green light? Move. Create. Act. Red light? Sit down. Rest. Reflect. But I used to ignore the red lights until I was benched by force. Not anymore.

Now, I pause when I’m told to. I go inward. I take stock. And in doing so, I realized my avoidance of livestreams wasn’t just a tech or personality thing. It was a trauma thing.

A past-life persecution thing.

A fear of being perceived. Judged. Misunderstood.

But guess what? Nobody has ever been meaner to me than me. No hater could ever match the self-loathing I once held. Once I realized that, the fear lost its grip.

Step Into the Spotlight, Even If You Hate It

To my fellow soul leaders, the ones with “it” who try to hide “it”: stop hiding and diluting your power.

You were born with big energy. Star power. Aura that turns heads. People feel you when you walk into a room. And I get it—that’s uncomfortable. But that discomfort doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It means you’re expanding.

We’re in a timeline shift where influence is shifting away from those who crave it and toward those who deserve it. Those who never wanted the spotlight are being called to it. The torch is being passed to those with integrity, discernment, and heart.

That means you.

Real Talk: You Don’t Owe the Past Version of You Anything

I still don’t post often on my personal Facebook. Too many people there knew the old “me.” The character I was playing before my awakening. Some of them watched my rock bottom like it was a reality show.

But they don’t know me now. And truth be told, most of them never did.

You don’t owe your old platforms, old followers, or old personas a damn thing. Go where you’re energetically wanted. Start fresh if you need to. Let people talk. Let them judge. Let them throw stones.

You’re not doing this for them.

Final Word: Take the Bull by the Horns

It’s Taurus new moon energy, so let me say it like this:

Grab the damn bull by the horns and ride that beast into your new timeline. Into your victory. Into your joy. Into your abundance. Even if you’re scared. Even if you’re shaking.

Because comfort zones don’t birth greatness. Resistance doesn’t mean no—it means breakthrough. You will feel fear. You will feel discomfort. But if you can ride it out, your next level is waiting.

Push through. Step up. Be seen.
